Brad James is the only guy on the team who can pull off a suit and tie in the bee yard. He covers the business of beekeeping and implementation of beekeeping systems from every angle — as well as occasional other topics. Before joining Beepods, Brad has helped many startups get off the ground through implementing organizational strategy that leverages current personnel and implementing tried and true business processes that promote business growth and leadership development. Brad’s personal goal is to make it as easy as possible for anyone to get into beekeeping. He sees that it to save the bees, it takes more responsible, forward-thinking beekeepers to make it happen. Follow him on Twitter and Instagram @BJJames23 to see what he’s doing with beepods during all hours of the day.

Laura’s journey with Beepods really started years before becoming involved with the company. An advocate for local and sustainable food and the central role pollinators play in our food system, Laura was looking for a way to become involved in beekeeping. Today, Laura is involved in our product development. Follow Laura on Instagram @LauraGater to check out some of the photos she takes of her “sweet ladies.”

Sam Joseph is an artist and aspiring beekeeper. Constantly immersed in the ambiguity of art, she turns to science as a logical counterweight. Bees enchanted her the moment she encountered them, and she is delighted to finally be working with them. She began volunteering with Beepods in 2016 as a beekeeping assistant and content writer, and she plans to stay on board to help and grow with the company in any way she can.
With a background in writing and biology, joining the Beepods team just seemed like the logical choice for Devon. Not having much experience with bees, she loves learning about the fascinating creatures while editing the content that her teammates write. When she’s got some spare time, Devon enjoys reading and spending time with her beloved cats.
